Hearing aid distribution

BTG Trust organized the Hearing Aid Distribution Programme, “Sound of Hope,” on 18 August 2026 at No.126, Renaissance Terrace, opposite Bishop Appasamy College, Race Course, Coimbatore. The programme was conducted in association with Exterro, the CSR partner supporting the initiative, and Hearzap, the hearing aid distributor for the event. 10 beneficiaries received hearing aids to support their communication and daily lives.Beneficiaries and their families gained access to a life-improving resource through the joint effort of BTG Trust, Exterro, and Hearzap.The programme strengthened collaboration between BTG Trust, Exterro, and Hearzap.Distinguished guests, officials, and community representatives came together in support of an inclusive cause.

Independence day celebration

An Independence Day celebration was organized on August 15 in Dhanalakshmi Nagar with the active participation of the tuition students. The celebration was conducted with the aim of creating awareness about the importance of Independence Day and encouraging the children to celebrate the spirit of patriotism and unity. The programme was graced by the presence of the Chief Guests, Mrs. Thanavathi, Managing Trustee of BTG Trust, and Mr. Ajay Sharma, Sub-Inspector of Police, C2 Police Station. Mr. Kavishkan from Tokyo Trading also attended and supported the event. The National Flag hoisting ceremony was honoured by Mr. Ajay Sharma, who hoisted the National Flag and addressed the gathering. His presence and words of encouragement inspired the students and added significance to the Independence Day celebration. As part of the programme, gifts were distributed to 50 children, generously sponsored by Mr. Kavishkan, Tokyo Trading. The gifts brought great happiness and excitement among the children. Various games and fun activities were conducted for the kids, giving them an opportunity to actively participate and enjoy the celebration. Prizes were presented to the winners of the games in appreciation of their enthusiasm and participation. The Independence Day celebration concluded on a joyful note, with the children enjoying the activities, games, gifts, and interaction with the guests. The programme successfully created a memorable experience for the students while promoting the values of patriotism, unity, sharing, and community participation.

World Nature Conservation Day – “Walk for Nature”

On the occasion of World Nature Conservation Day, the BTG Trust successfully organized the “Walk for Nature”, a women’s awareness walk, along with the Grand Finale of the “Happy Periods – ISDO” Mission-8 at Nirmala College for Women, Coimbatore. The event was conducted under the theme “Menstrual Pride and Hygiene Management – Together for a Period-Friendly World”, highlighting the connection between environmental conservation and menstrual health awareness.

Tuition Centre Inauguration

BTG Trust inaugurated its Free Tuition Centre for High School Students on 23 June 2026 at Dhanalakshmi Nagar, near Siddha Pudur. The centre was established to provide free academic support and guidance to students from underprivileged backgrounds. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the Inspector of C2 Police Station, who officially inaugurated the programme and encouraged students to make the best use of this educational initiative. BTG Trust remains committed to empowering children through quality education and community-based learning opportunities.

Free Hearing Screening Camp

BTG Trust, in collaboration with HearZep Hospital, successfully organized a Free Hearing Screening Camp at the BTG Trust Office on 18 June 2026. The initiative was conducted to promote awareness of hearing health and encourage early detection of hearing-related conditions. The camp benefited around 30 participants, who received free hearing screenings, professional guidance, and expert consultations from qualified healthcare specialists. BTG Trust extends its sincere appreciation to HearZep Hospital for their valuable partnership in making this community health initiative a success.

LIFE SUPPORTING EQUIPMENT – WALKING AID SUPPORT

BTG Trust extended support to Mrs. Jasmine, a physically challenged woman from Coimbatore, by providing her with a walking stick to improve her mobility and independence in daily life. Mrs. Jasmine is a single mother caring for her 12-year-old child. Despite facing physical challenges and financial hardships, she works diligently by selling fancy items on the roadside to support her family and meet their daily needs. Recognizing her determination and the difficulties she encounters in carrying out her livelihood activities, BTG Trust stepped forward to provide a walking stick that will assist her in moving safely and comfortably while continuing her work. This small yet meaningful intervention aims to enhance her mobility, reduce physical strain, and empower her to continue supporting her family with dignity and confidence. BTG Trust remains committed to supporting vulnerable individuals and families by addressing their immediate needs and enabling them to lead more independent and fulfilling lives. Together, we can create opportunities, restore dignity, and build a more inclusive society.

SCHOLARS OF BTGT

BTG Trust, with the generous support of Exterro Pvt. Ltd., has extended educational assistance to Jeba Mirachlin, a 12-year-old student studying in the 6th Standard from Pollachi. Jeba comes from an economically challenged family where both her parents, Mr. Muthukumar and Mrs. Kirubha, are persons with hearing and speech impairment disabilities. Despite facing financial hardships, the family remains committed to providing quality education for their children. Recognizing the family’s need, BTG Trust and Exterro Pvt. Ltd. jointly provided School Fees Support and Hostel Fees Support to ensure that Jeba can continue her education without interruption and pursue her dreams with confidence. This initiative reflects our shared commitment to creating equal educational opportunities for children from vulnerable backgrounds and empowering them to build a brighter future through education. We extend our sincere gratitude to Exterro Pvt. Ltd. for partnering with us in making a meaningful difference in the life of a deserving child. CARE FOR ALL – FREE EYE SCREENING CAMP

BTG Trust successfully organized a Free Eye Screening Camp at Irugur, Coimbatore, in collaboration with Trinity Eye Hospital. The initiative was conducted with the objective of promoting eye health awareness and providing accessible vision care services to the community. The camp witnessed active participation from people of all age groups, including senior citizens, adults, and children. Experienced eye care professionals conducted comprehensive eye examinations and provided guidance on maintaining good eye health. Participants were also screened for common vision-related issues and advised on further treatment wherever necessary. The camp proved to be highly beneficial, enabling many individuals to identify eye-related concerns at an early stage and seek timely medical attention. BTG Trust remains committed to organizing such community health initiatives that improve the well-being and quality of life of underserved populations. HOPE IN ACTION – SAFE DAYS

As part of its ongoing commitment towards women’s health, dignity, and menstrual hygiene awareness, BTG Trust successfully distributed one-year sanitary napkin support kits to women and girl children residing in the Ayyampathy Tribal Settlement. The initiative was organized with the objective of ensuring access to safe and hygienic menstrual care products for tribal women and adolescent girls who often face challenges in accessing basic healthcare and hygiene essentials. Through this support, the Trust aims to promote menstrual health awareness, improve personal hygiene practices, and encourage confidence and well-being among the beneficiaries.

WORLD SOCIAL WORK DAY 2026

On the occassion of World Social Work Day 2026, BTG Trust organized a meaningful outreach initiative aimed at supporting underprivileaged communities. The programme focused on promoting dignity, health, and well-being among women who are engaged in roadside and street vending activities. The initiative reflected the core values of social work – service, social justice, and empowerment.
