BTG Trust organized the Hearing Aid Distribution Programme, “Sound of Hope,” on 18 August 2026 at No.126, Renaissance Terrace, opposite Bishop Appasamy College, Race Course, Coimbatore. The programme was conducted in association with Exterro, the CSR partner supporting the initiative, and Hearzap, the hearing aid distributor for the event. 10 beneficiaries received hearing aids to support their communication and daily lives.Beneficiaries and their families gained access to a life-improving resource through the joint effort of BTG Trust, Exterro, and Hearzap.The programme strengthened collaboration between BTG Trust, Exterro, and Hearzap.Distinguished guests, officials, and community representatives came together in support of an inclusive cause.
Independence day celebration
An Independence Day celebration was organized on August 15 in Dhanalakshmi Nagar with the active participation of the tuition students. The celebration was conducted with the aim of creating awareness about the importance of Independence Day and encouraging the children to celebrate the spirit of patriotism and unity. The programme was graced by the presence of the Chief Guests, Mrs. Thanavathi, Managing Trustee of BTG Trust, and Mr. Ajay Sharma, Sub-Inspector of Police, C2 Police Station. Mr. Kavishkan from Tokyo Trading also attended and supported the event. The National Flag hoisting ceremony was honoured by Mr. Ajay Sharma, who hoisted the National Flag and addressed the gathering. His presence and words of encouragement inspired the students and added significance to the Independence Day celebration. As part of the programme, gifts were distributed to 50 children, generously sponsored by Mr. Kavishkan, Tokyo Trading. The gifts brought great happiness and excitement among the children. Various games and fun activities were conducted for the kids, giving them an opportunity to actively participate and enjoy the celebration. Prizes were presented to the winners of the games in appreciation of their enthusiasm and participation. The Independence Day celebration concluded on a joyful note, with the children enjoying the activities, games, gifts, and interaction with the guests. The programme successfully created a memorable experience for the students while promoting the values of patriotism, unity, sharing, and community participation.
International youth day
De-Action : Awareness program On 12 August 2026, on the occasion of World Youth Day, BTG Trust conducted a De-Addiction Awareness Campaign at Race Course and Bishop Amriz College. The campaign, titled “Proud Selfie Campaign,” created awareness among around 250 students about the harmful effects of addiction and the importance of staying away from substance abuse. Students actively participated by giving their thumb impressions as a symbol of their commitment against addiction. They also took selfies as part of the campaign and shared them on social media to spread the message of a drug-free and healthy youth. The programme was a meaningful initiative that encouraged young people to take a stand against addiction and become ambassadors of a healthy and responsible society.
Tuition Centre Inauguration
BTG Trust inaugurated its Free Tuition Centre for High School Students on 23 June 2026 at Dhanalakshmi Nagar, near Siddha Pudur. The centre was established to provide free academic support and guidance to students from underprivileged backgrounds. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the Inspector of C2 Police Station, who officially inaugurated the programme and encouraged students to make the best use of this educational initiative. SEED BALL MAKING EVENT World Earth Day is celebrated to create awareness about protecting the environment and encouraging sustainable practices. However, in many rural areas, people may lack awareness about the importance of voting, and the election process. Misconceptions and lack of information can reduce participation in elections. Recognizing this need, BTG Trust organized an Election Awareness Campaign in Mullankadu and Madakkadu villages to educate citizens and encourage active participation in the democratic process.

A clean, colorful, and inspiring school environment plays an important role in shaping children’s learning experiences. Many rural schools need maintenance and creative spaces that encourage students to attend school regularly and learn with enthusiasm. Recognizing this need, BTG Trust organized a Wall Painting Drive at Murugan pathi Village School in Boluvampatti to transform the school surroundings into a vibrant and motivating learning space.
