In commemoration of World Paper Bag Day 2025, BTG Trust organized an awareness generation campaign to promote the use of eco-friendly alternatives and reduce the reliance on single-use plastics. As part of this initiative, a paper bag making session was conducted with school children from Booluvampatti village, followed by the distribution of handmade paper bags to street vendors along the bustling Gandhipuram 100 Feet Road in Coimbatore. The campaign emphasized the need for sustainable choices in everyday life, especially in commercial transactions, and aimed to spread this message to both rural communities and urban vendors.
AWARENESS GENERATION – ACTIVITY PAPER BAG MAKING

HENNA AWARENESS ACTIVITY ON CHILD MARRIAGE PREVENTION Child marriage remains a serious barrier to education, health, and development for girls in India. To raise awareness about the importance of preventing early marriage and ensuring a safe, educated future for girls, BTG Trust conducted a unique and culturally engaging event titled “Child Not Bride – Henna Awareness Activity”. The event used mehendi (henna art) as a powerful medium to spark conversations about child marriage and girls’ rights. A special highlight of the event was the creative use of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) Scheme logo, which was beautifully drawn in henna on the hands of children, symbolizing empowerment, protection, and hope for the girl child.

STUDY MATERIAL DISTRIBUTION BTG Trust organized a Study Material Distribution Program to recognize and reward academic excellence among students. The event was focused on students of Class 11 and 12 who achieved top scores in their recent board examinations. HOPE IN ACTION – THE ROYAL FEAST
BTG Trust, a socially driven organization dedicated to uplifting underprivileged communities, recently hosted a heartfelt initiative titled the Royal Feast Event in the tribal village of Seenguli, nestled in the scenic forest zone of Anaikatti. This event was a culmination of weeks of planning, coordination, and a passionate vision to bring joy and sustenance to a marginalized section of society. With over 350 tribal individuals participating, the event proved to be a memorable occasion of cultural celebration and community bonding.
AWARENESS GENERATION – THE NUTRITIOUS STOP
BTG Trust organized a community health awareness campaign at Race Course Zone 1, Coimbatore, targeting early morning fitness enthusiasts. The campaign focused on educating people about healthy millets, native seeds and pulses with an emphasis on their role in preventing and managing diabetes. The event featured interactive activities, a quiz contest, and a heritage grain display, sponsored by Thamarai Brand, a local leader in traditional organic products.

Child marriage remains a deeply rooted social challenge in rural India, with devastating consequences for young girls. It compromises their health, hinders their education, and robs them of their right to a safe and empowered future. In an effort to combat this issue, BTG Trust conducted a Henna Awareness Campaign in Ansur and Senkuttai villages. The initiative aimed to raise awareness in a respectful and culturally appropriate way, using the traditional art of henna application to engage women and adolescent girls in open dialogue about the legal and emotional aspects of early marriage.
HOPE IN ACTION – CINEMA SANDHIPPU
In pursuit of its vision to promote equity, dignity, and holistic development among marginalized communities, BTG Trust, under the framework of its flagship initiative Hope In Action, organized a special outreach program titled “Cinema Sandhippu” on June 18, 2025. This culturally significant initiative was implemented in collaboration with BTG Universal and made possible through the strategic sponsorship and social commitment of Exterro.
AWARENESS GENERATION – POSH AWARENESS
In line with the guidelines of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, a comprehensive awareness generation session was conducted at Universal Heat Exchangers Company. The session aimed to sensitize employees on the legal, ethical, and professional implications of workplace sexual harassment and to promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment. The initiative reflects the company’s proactive commitment to ensuring workplace dignity and equality for all employees, particularly women, by preventing harassment and addressing grievances through proper channels.
