BTG Trust’s HopeInAction – #SafeDays installed a sanitary napkin vending machine at Corporation Middle School, Vattamalaipalayam, benefiting 96 girls. Sponsored by Exterro and supported by the Tamil Nadu Education Department, the initiative improves menstrual hygiene access and awareness, reducing stigma and promoting girls’ health and school attendance.
HOPE IN ACTION – SAFE DAYS
On February 5, 2025, BTG Trust, under its “HopeInAction – #SafeDays” initiative, installed a sanitary napkin vending machine at Corporation Girls High School, Sidhapudur, benefiting 279 students. Supported by Exterro and implemented in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Education Department, the initiative ensures regular access to menstrual hygiene products and includes awareness sessions on menstrual health and hygiene. This effort empowers young girls with knowledge, promotes dignity, and creates a supportive school environment for managing menstrual health.

On 29th January 2025, BTG Trust, in partnership with the Tamil Nadu Education Department, implemented its HopeInAction – #SafeDays initiative at Government Higher Secondary School, Kalveerampalayam.A sanitary napkin vending machine was installed, benefiting 992 girl students with improved menstrual hygiene access.An awareness session was also conducted to educate students on safe menstrual practices and break associated stigmas.This initiative strengthens school attendance, builds confidence, and promotes health and dignity for adolescent girls.

HOPE IN ACTION – Clean Drinking Water for a Brighter Future
On 28th January 2025, BTG Trust, in partnership with BLR Corporate Services, proudly launched the Hope in Action: Clean Drinking Water for a Brighter Future initiative. This impactful program addresses a critical need in rural development—access to safe and clean drinking water. With generous support from Elaine Ryan & Associates Ltd – ERA Ireland, a water purifier was successfully installed at Chinnamettupalayam Government Middle School, directly benefiting 350 students and staff. This initiative highlights our commitment to improving health, education, and community well-being.
Mrs. Kalaiarasi – Transformation Journey
Mrs. Kalaiarasi, a migrant, shared her inspiring journey with the tailoring class conducted by BTG Trust. Overwhelmed by employment challenges, she found a path to self-reliance and independence through this program. Entering the class with no prior knowledge, she is now skilled enough to stitch pants and is proud of the progress she has made. The supportive and secure learning environment greatly contributed to her confidence and growth. With a passion for tailoring, Kalaiarasi is now aspiring to become an entrepreneur, a dream she feels empowered to pursue thanks to the training she received.
Mrs. Seebha – Transformation Journey
Mrs. Seebha from Vellakinar shared her experience about the tailoring class organized by BTG Trust. Prior to the class, she didn’t even know how to thread a needle, but through the program, she gained valuable tailoring skills that are now useful both personally and professionally. The teacher was patient and always willing to clear doubts, ensuring every student felt supported throughout the course. HOPE IN ACTION – OPERATION RELIEF
In December 2024, the Fengal Cyclone devastated the Irular tribal community in Anjancheri, Villupuram, leaving 19 families homeless. In response, BTG Trust raised ₹33,170 to provide urgent relief. Working with local leaders, the team distributed essential household items like utensils and groceries, helping families begin their recovery and restore daily life.
HOPE IN ACTION – OPERATION RELIEF
On December 13, 2024, BTG Trust, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Smart City, responded to a severe landslide affecting 200 families in Thiruvannamalai. We provided essential survival kits and support to 485 beneficiaries across multiple villages. Working closely with local leaders, we helped the community recover, rebuild, and empower families for long-term resilience.
