Menstrual health is not a luxury – it is a basic human right. Yet, for many women and girls in remote and tribal communities, access to menstrual hygiene products, proper education, and supportive spaces is still a distant reality. In these areas, menstruation is often surrounded by stigma, misinformation, and silence – -affecting not only health, but also education, self-esteem, and opportunities. Recognizing this gap, BTG Trust launched the Safe Days Project to ensure that no girl has to choose between her health and her dignity.
