On December 30, 2022, BTG Trust conducted an Advanced PowerPoint Workshop under the Her Tech Journey initiative at SNR College. The session was designed to enhance the presentation skills of 60 staff participants, empowering them with advanced technical knowledge. The workshop offered hands-on training in using animations, transitions, design strategies, and data visualization tools in Microsoft PowerPoint. Participants learned to craft visually engaging and professional presentations suited for academic and workplace contexts. The session focused on organizing content effectively and applying creative design principles. This initiative aimed to boost confidence and digital fluency among educators and professionals. Held in honor of International Women’s Day, the initiative began with a motivational session emphasizing the power of digital literacy in transforming lives. Participants received hands-on training in basic computer operations, MS Word, internet browsing, and file management. Sessions on digital banking and financial literacy taught women to use mobile wallets, UPI apps, and safe online payment methods. Women also learned to explore online resources like YouTube for vocational skills and job portals for work-from-home opportunities. Peer networking workshops fostered mutual support and post-training collaboration. Individual goal-setting sessions helped participants plan their digital journey forward. The program led to a boost in confidence and employability, with many expressing readiness to pursue remote jobs. AWARENESS GENERATION – Skill Development Program
On January 7, 2022, BTG Trust conducted a Skill Development Program to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-life challenges. The event was held at Government Higher Secondary School and Annan International School, reaching and empowering 250 students. The program focused on fostering personal growth, discipline, and community engagement. Students participated in interactive sessions on time management, health, and hygiene, which provided practical knowledge essential for daily life. A variety of competitions encouraged creativity, teamwork, and self-confidence. The initiative aimed to nurture holistic development and inspire students to become responsible, well-rounded individuals.
