HerTech Journey is a flagship initiative by BTG Trust, launched on November 12, 2022, to empower educators, students, and professionals with essential digital skills. The program focuses on delivering high-impact, hands-on workshops that build proficiency in tools like Microsoft PowerPoint, emphasizing advanced features such as animations, transitions, data visualization, and multimedia integration. With 35 beneficiaries participating in the inaugural session, the initiative successfully equipped individuals with the ability to create polished, engaging presentations. HerTech Journey supports academic excellence and career readiness while fostering confidence, innovation, and lifelong learning in a tech-driven world.

On November 12, 2022, BTG Trust organized the HerTech Journey – Advanced PPT Workshop, benefitting 60 participants, including students and professionals. This initiative aimed to bridge the digital skills gap by offering hands-on training in Microsoft PowerPoint, focusing on advanced features such as slide design, animations, transitions, data visualization, and multimedia integration. Participants gained practical experience in creating impactful and professional-grade presentations. The workshop fostered digital confidence and equipped attendees with tools essential for academic and workplace success. HerTech Journey reflects BTG Trust’s commitment to digital empowerment, continuous learning, and career readiness. FOUNDER BIRTHDAY – Celebration
On November 18, 2022, BTG Trust celebrated the birthday of its esteemed founder, Mr. Bobby, with a meaningful community outreach event at the United Nations Orphanage Home, sponsored by Exterro. The celebration focused on compassion, care, and social responsibility, bringing joy to 100 elderly individuals through a thoughtfully organized lunch service. Volunteers ensured meals were nutritious and tailored to the participants’ needs, while light entertainment and engaging interactions created a warm, uplifting atmosphere. The event included heartfelt speeches and expressions of gratitude, highlighting the founder’s vision of giving back to society. BTG Trust extends sincere thanks to Exterro and the Orphanage Home team for their support in making this initiative impactful and memorable.
CARE FOR ALL – Medical Camp – 2
On October 21, 2022, BTG Trust conducted a baseline health survey in 24 Veerapandi village to assess the prevailing health conditions and medical awareness among residents. Using a structured questionnaire, the study revealed that a significant portion of the population suffers from skin diseases, allergies, and respiratory issues, with many not receiving adequate treatment. Based on the findings—where 47% requested general check-ups, 21% opted for dust allergy support, and 3.4% for eye check-ups—the Foundation planned a targeted medical camp focused on skin, lung, and general health care. This initiative reflects BTG Trust’s ongoing commitment to community health and wellbeing.
INDEPENDENCE DAY – Celebration & Awareness
On August 11, 2022, BTG Trust organized an Independence Day Awareness Celebration at NAWA Orphanage Home, aiming to promote inclusion, joy, and patriotic spirit among children and staff. The event featured vibrant decorations, engaging games, cultural performances, and a festive lunch that made the day memorable for everyone involved. Children actively participated in activities like musical chairs, relay races, patriotic songs, dances, and a quiz on India’s history. Volunteers added energy and warmth, fostering emotional connections and encouraging learning through storytelling and interaction. Thoughtful gifts, including tricolor-themed stationery, were distributed to the children as tokens of appreciation and national pride. The celebration reflected BTG Trust’s commitment to community engagement, education, and meaningful inclusion.

The drive was supported by a comprehensive awareness campaign to encourage community participation. Volunteers engaged donors throughout the event, making the experience positive and encouraging ongoing social contribution. HOPE IN ACTION – Safe Days
On June 25, 2022, BTG Trust, with support from Exterro Gives Back, launched HopeInAction at Government Higher Secondary School, Kalappatti, Coimbatore. The project involved installing a sanitary napkin vending machine to support menstrual hygiene among school girls. This initiative benefits over 600 female students, ensuring access to essential hygiene products. The goal is to reduce school absenteeism due to menstrual issues and promote dignity and comfort. By making sanitary napkins easily accessible, the project empowers girls to manage their periods confidently. It also aims to break the stigma surrounding menstruation through awareness and open dialogue. The initiative highlights the importance of menstrual health from adolescence to adulthood. It fosters a supportive school environment for girls to discuss health-related concerns. BTG Trust continues to promote women’s health, education, and empowerment. HopeInAction is a step toward building healthier, more informed communities.
CARE FOR ALL – Medical Camp 1
BTG Trust, dedicated to supporting underprivileged communities, conducted a free medical camp in Kurumbapalayam, Madukkarai, on 12th June 2022. The camp was held at Government Elementary School from 9 AM to 1 PM. Kurumbapalayam is a remote village affected by air pollution due to a nearby cement factory. Despite being semi-urban, the residents lack awareness of health risks, especially respiratory issues. The camp offered free general, skin, and lung capacity check-ups along with medications. Dr. N. Mageshwaran and a team of three nurses from Supa Hospital provided medical support. Cipla Pharmaceuticals assisted with spirometry tests to assess lung function. Exterro R&D Pvt Ltd assisted with providing volunteer support. A total of 105 villagers registered and benefited from the initiative. The camp helped raise awareness about pollution-related health concerns. BTG continues to organize monthly camps to improve rural health and community well-being.

On March 8, 2022, BTG Trust launched the Her Tech Journey program, empowering women from marginalized communities with essential digital skills. Held in honor of International Women’s Day, the initiative began with a motivational session emphasizing the power of digital literacy in transforming lives. Participants received hands-on training in basic computer operations, MS Word, internet browsing, and file management. Sessions on digital banking and financial literacy taught women to use mobile wallets, UPI apps, and safe online payment methods. Women also learned to explore online resources like YouTube for vocational skills and job portals for work-from-home opportunities. Peer networking workshops fostered mutual support and post-training collaboration. Individual goal-setting sessions helped participants plan their digital journey forward. The program led to a boost in confidence and employability, with many expressing readiness to pursue remote jobs. This initiative marks a significant step toward building a digitally inclusive and empowered community.
HOPE IN ACTION – Cloth Donation
On January 10, 2022, the Hope in Action initiative was carried out at Don Bosco Anbu Illam, a home for orphaned and vulnerable children. Organized by BTG Trust in collaboration with Universal Peace Foundation and sponsored by Exterro Company, the project aimed to bring comfort and joy to the children. Essential clothing items were donated to improve their living conditions and provide a sense of dignity and care. Over 50 children received essential clothing, which significantly improved their comfort and well-being. The initiative fostered a warm and positive environment, reinforcing that these children are seen, valued, and supported. The project served as a meaningful example of how NGOs, trusts, and corporates can unite for social good. It highlighted the importance of uplifting underprivileged children through community-driven efforts. Hope in Action not only met immediate needs but also inspired lasting hope. This act of kindness reinforced the power of compassion in building stronger, more caring communities.
