The Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) Act is a crucial legal framework that ensures a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment for all employees. Understanding the importance of workplace safety and gender equality, BTG Trust conducted a PoSH Awareness Program at Madras Radiators and Pressings Limited – Plant IV. The program aimed to educate employees about the provisions of the PoSH Act, acceptable workplace behavior, and the mechanisms available for prevention and redressal of sexual harassment.
Objectives of the Program
- To create awareness about the PoSH Act and its legal implications
- To educate employees on identifying and preventing sexual harassment
- To promote respectful and professional workplace behavior
- To explain the role and functioning of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)
- To encourage a safe, inclusive, and harassment-free work environment
