Despite constitutional guarantees, systemic gender inequalities persist. Our Women Empowerment program addresses these gaps by placing women at the center of development—nurturing their voices, investing in their potential, and removing barriers to opportunity.

Stitch Her Dreams
Empowering Women Through Skill & Self-Reliance
BTG Trust’s flagship project, Stitch Her Dreams, offers free six-month sewing and tailoring training for underprivileged women—paving the way to financial independence and sustainable livelihoods.

Handmade Heroines
Empowering Women, Unlocking Potential
Handmade Heroines by BTG Trust equips women and girls with marketable craft skills in just one week. Participants learn income-generating skills like Mehandi design, jewelry making, and fabric painting, empowering them to create, earn, and become entrepreneurs.

Hope in Action – Safe Days
Advancing Menstrual Dignity Through Access, Awareness, and Action
Safe Days is BTG Trust’s menstrual hygiene initiative aimed at breaking taboos and ensuring dignified periods for women and girls in Coimbatore. Through the distribution of sanitary napkin vending machines in schools and free napkin distribution in communities, we provide accessible menstrual products and promote awareness.
Program Highlights:

• Free napkin distribution in slums and low-resource areas
• Menstrual hygiene workshops for girls, women, and educators
• Busting myths, promoting safe disposal, and encouraging body confidence
